The school children from Blakemoor Gate, Blakemoor Flat and The Paddock walked up and down this daily to Stiperstones School. Their was no steps in those days just a steep path. My great great grandparents, grand parents and my mother and her immediate family did this. No school run in those days. I had the luxury of a Minsterley Motors bus from Crows Nest.
